Leaping Lizards!

We saw many lizards, but I photographed only one, a Slender Glass Lizard. Jeff was able to carefully bag it without breaking its tail. This specimen was interesting because it lacked a clearly defined dark mid-dorsal stripe. It was also the first Slender Glass that I had seen in the Forest.

We also saw Five-lined Skinks, Broadhead Skinks, Ground Skinks, and Green Anoles. One of the Ground Skinks was so dark that in appeared to be black when seen against the white limestone of the roads.
